Dollar Dealers

Dollar Dealers sits at the bottom end of the centre, next to the Salvation Army store, and works both directions — it lends against goods and it sells them. Pawn loans, short interest-free loans, luxury loans and layby are all available, and the shop buys gold and jewellery outright.

The retail side is where most people end up: several hundred pre-owned items at any time, spanning electronics and gaming consoles, jewellery and watches, designer bags, tools, sporting gear, instruments and appliances. Designer pieces carry an authenticity guarantee. Photo ID is required for any loan. The business is New Zealand owned, with other stores around Auckland.
