Noy's Barbecue

Noy’s does Filipino barbecue — pork and chicken skewers, and chopped grilled pork belly, served as meals with yellow rice, cucumber, tomato, pickled papaya, peanut sauce and vinegar. Skewers are available on their own too, alongside the less common cuts: pig ears, chicken feet and chicken liver.

Taho — warm silken tofu with tapioca pearls and syrup — is worth ordering if you have not had it before. It trades as a takeaway counter at 185 Great South Road, with a sister shop in New Lynn.
