Pho Kitchen
Authentic Vietnamese cuisine in the heart of Manurewa.
About Pho Kitchen
Pho Kitchen is run by three siblings whose family came to New Zealand as refugees, and whose mother — after two decades cooking in Vietnamese restaurants — still makes the broths. They are built from real bones rather than stock cubes, which is the whole argument for eating here.
The menu is Vietnamese with some Chinese dishes worked in: pho and noodle soups, BBQ meats and roast duck on rice, rice plates, noodle salads, spring and summer rolls, wontons and lemongrass chicken. Vietnamese iced coffee and fruit shakes round it out. The Manurewa restaurant is the original; a second opened later in Ōtara.
