The Boss

The Boss Men’s Grooming Lounge at Unit J does cuts, shaves and beard work in a traditional barbershop setting. It runs long days, closing at 8pm on weekdays, with a break over lunch.

It carries by far the largest review base of any business in the centre — several hundred, at a consistently strong rating — which is unusual for a barbershop this size and worth knowing if you are choosing between the several at Southmall. There are two other branches, in Pukekohe and Birkenhead, run by the same operator.
