Two Dollar Things Plus!

Two Dollar Things Plus! is part of a New Zealand chain founded in 2015 that now runs 26 stores from Auckland to the South Island. The Manurewa shop at Shop 17 carries over 8,000 products across stationery, beauty, homeware, toys, electronics and seasonal lines, with new stock arriving weekly.

The “Plus!” in the name is literal. The chain rebranded in February 2023 when inflation pushed the core price from $2 to $2.50, and added $5 and $10 ranges at the same time. The pitch is supermarket-quality goods at dollar-store prices, and there is an online store alongside the shops.
